Gigi Le Flufy is honoured to live, work, and grow on the unceded traditional territory of the hǝn̓q̓ǝmin̓ǝm̓ speaking xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) People.
As a writer, poet, artist, and early childhood educator, Gigi uses the power of storytelling as a tool for connection and a place for re-imagining, recreating, and rebuilding an inclusive environment. Gigi shares her love of books and literacy through her work as an educator at The University of British Columbia.
Gigi has a Bachelor of Arts from The University of West London (England), a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Langara College (Canada) and is a part of The Writer's Studio at Simon Fraser University. Her debut picture book, APRIL'S WINDOW was illustrated by renowned artist Francisco Fonseco.
After travelling the coastlines of three continents, Gigi currently resides where the mountains meet the sea in Vancouver, Canada.
